Youth Environmental Learning
Practical environmental education that helps children and young people understand environmental challenges and participate in responsible action.
AfEI works with schools, pupils and young people to strengthen environmental knowledge, practical skills and responsible attitudes towards nature and natural resources.
Activities include environmental clubs, school outreach, mentorship, climate-change education, tree planting, school greening, waste awareness and the development of educational and training materials.
This programme area builds on AfEI's school outreach activities, the Mentorship School Clubs, the Sustainable Development Goals Drive, and the youth-learning components of the Climate Harmony Project.
