AfEI works with funding organisations, research institutions, civil-society organisations, public institutions and community partners to deliver practical environmental programmes in Ghana.
Working through partnership
Partnerships strengthen AfEI’s ability to develop relevant programmes, reach communities and improve the quality of its environmental work. AfEI welcomes collaboration with organisations whose priorities align with climate-resilient agriculture, youth environmental learning and community landscape restoration.
Partnership opportunities may involve programme funding, research, technical support, implementation, training, monitoring and evaluation, public education or the development of environmental learning materials.
Ways to partner with AfEI
Funding Partners
AfEI welcomes support for environmental education, climate-resilient agriculture, landscape restoration and organisational development. Funding may support new initiatives, the expansion of existing programmes, project learning and long-term community engagement.
Research Organisations and Universities
AfEI works with researchers and academic institutions on environmental research, field learning, monitoring and evaluation, training, student engagement and the development of evidence for environmental decision-making.
Implementation Partners
Civil-society organisations, farmer organisations, community groups and public institutions can collaborate with AfEI in designing and implementing environmental programmes, training activities and community-based initiatives.
Technical and Knowledge Partners
AfEI welcomes technical collaboration in areas such as climate-smart agriculture, agroforestry, water management, environmental education, GIS, monitoring and evaluation, communications and organisational development.
Corporate and Institutional Partners
Businesses and institutions may support AfEI through responsible sponsorship, technical assistance, staff volunteering, approved material contributions and longer-term environmental partnerships.
Schools and Youth Organisations
Schools and youth organisations can work with AfEI to establish environmental clubs, organise practical learning activities and strengthen environmental awareness among children and young people.

Where a partnership involves research, photographs, personal information or community data, AfEI expects appropriate consent, responsible data management and clear agreement on how information will be used.
