Climate-Resilient Agriculture

Practical support that helps farmers respond to changing weather, declining soil fertility and rising production costs.

AfEI works with farmers to promote agricultural practices that strengthen climate resilience while supporting soil health, water efficiency and sustainable production.

Activities under this programme area include practical farmer training, demonstration farming, compost preparation, soil and water management, efficient irrigation, regenerative agricultural practices and the responsible use of locally available resources.

This programme area draws on experience from initiatives including Youth for Water and Climate, the Climate Harmony Project, and Life in a Changing Landscape, Phases I and II.
