AfEI participated in the 2017 World Environment Day observance under the theme “Connect with Nature.” The activity involved planting trees on the grounds of Adawso Roman Catholic Basic School.
The school requested the activity as part of efforts to respond to soil erosion affecting the school grounds.

Four Acacia trees were planted on the school premises.
